Red Rider

Red Rider

Red Rider is described as a  “supernatural Spaghetti Western,” and it leans a little heavier on the spaghetti than the spooks. The film’s trailer steals Ennio Morricone’s music outright, and it lifts close-ups,  lines and attitude from traditional Italian Oaters. One thing that sets this 25-minute film apart is that it was shot in North Wales at a copper mine, and stars New Zealander Phil Novak (see photo),  who has doubled for Clint Eastwood in times past.
