Jesse James DVD

Word has just come to us that The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford will arrive in video stores on February 5. This means that many readers will finally have a chance to see the most critically lauded, worst promoted film of 2007. Given Warner Brothers’ past treatment of this film, I wouldn’t count on any extras, even though there was once a much longer version. I recommend setting aside a bit of quality time to give the picture the patience and focus it deserves.
