My wife and I live near a small canyon called "Dead Mexican Canyon." Is it true this is where Wyatt Earp killed Florentino Cruz, alias "Indian Charlie?"

Dead Mexican Canyon was named for Cruz. Tombstone historian Ben Traywick tells me Florentino Cruz and Indian Charlie were two different people, but Cruz was the lookout during the murder of Wyatt’s brother Morgan—and the man Wyatt gunned down at Arizona’s Dead Mexican Canyon.
