Event 25th Annual Vaquero Show and Sale

The Santa Ynez Valley Historical Society and Carriage Museum proudly presents the 25th Anniversary Vaquero Show and Sale that celebrates California’s earliest cowboy. Noted artisans and collectors from throughout the western United States will display and sell cowboy and western apparel, quality artwork, horse tack, one-of-a-kind memorabilia and more! Patrons will have a chance to participate in the Vaquero raffle for a custom headstall fitted with silver snaffle bit by Chuck Irwin and mane horsehair mecate. The popular Vaquero Preview Party with early purchasing privileges and a gala dinner on Friday evening kick off the popular weekend event. A perfect place to do some holiday shopping for that special cowboy or cowgirl on your gift list.

 

All proceeds from the Vaquero Show benefit the non-profit Historical Museum in its mission to collect, protect and preserve the rich history of the Santa Ynez Valley.
